I cannot take credit for the set up of this painting...that is all the brainchild of Gazelle, the model who sat for this portrait. It was started in a virtual modeling session she hosted, and finished up with a photo reference she provided afterwards. I have not yet hired models to pose to my own specifications, mostly because that is a bit out of character for me as a person and an artist. I like being inspired by what I'm seeing, and especially when the subject is a person, well, I haven't yet felt the need to assert my vision on someone else.
