On the one hand, this is a nice, stress-free still life featuring mostly spherical objects, spheres being one of the first things one learns to draw and thus the most easy to render. On the other hand, there is a metaphor hidden (or maybe not? I'm not that subtle) in here, of the one thing that may or may not belong.
