Allan posed for this with candlelight and, if memory serves, a violent thunderstorm threatening to end our virtual sitting at anytime. I really enjoyed the composition of the pose, and the dramatic shadows concealing large parts of the face, not only interesting for the artist to paint but also quite fitting for the atmosphere of the pose.
